Our Team
The expertise behind our mission.
Praetorian Studios brings together trauma-informed medical insight, VR engineering, and certified game-design expertise to build tools that support clinicians and modernize trauma-focused therapy. Our team combines real-world experience treating PTSD with the technical capability required to create safe, controlled virtual environments for Prolonged Exposure therapy.

Our Story
After deploying to Iraq as a Tier-1 Special Operations medic and later being diagnosed with PTSD himself, our founder experienced firsthand the limits of Prolonged Exposure and EMDR—treatments that rely on a patient’s ability to imagine traumatic memories they’ve spent years trying not to revisit. While studying game design, he realized that modern game-engine technology could finally recreate these moments in controlled, simple virtual environments that clinicians could guide safely in therapy.
Praetorian Studios now builds VR tools that allow therapists to reconstruct snapshots of traumatic memories for use in trauma-focused care. Our approach is grounded in frontline medical experience, powered by Unity and Unreal Engine, and supported by emerging clinical partnerships with growing interest. This is a mission shaped by service and recovery, and a commitment to modernizing how PTSD is treated.
